This was a quick snap in the Latta Arcade. It is a good place to grab lunch. Also, the old photos on the wall are enjoyable. However, the most enjoyable aspect is found at the end the arcade … it opens on to an open air pavilion which is lined with bars.

Today was overcast and rainy. A stay inside sort of day. So for our outing we strolled through the Overstreet Mall to Amalie’s.
From the photo, you can see that Amalie’s is fun and eclectic.
As regulars we recommend Amalie’s for the atmosphere, wine, food, and for their baguettes. Oh, and their pastries a very good too.
Amalie’s French Baker is at 380 South College.
Last night, we enjoyed a meal at Que Onda Tacos and Tequila. The food and drinks were very good. In addition, I especially enjoyed the art. The artist is Rosalia Torres-Weiner.

Today we find a little blue and a little red in my photo of Bar Cocoa at the Ritz Carlton in Uptown Charlotte. The chocolate is very sweet and the drinks good.
