It has been unseasonably hot and like many we have spent more time than usual in the comfort of air-conditioned places. However this weekend I took a long walk in the heat and it felt good. While on my walk I passed by this chicken art in Southend near Uptown Charlotte.
this photo was taken near the Bland Station on the Blue Line. It is also near the futo buta ramen restaurant.
Today’s photo shows another thin line … a Southend sign on the I277 overpass … just across the overpass is Uptown Charlotte.
We seem to be spending more time in the Southend mainly because the restaurants.

While on a walk, this last weekend, I took this photo at a lightrail station in the South End near Uptown Charlotte. Notice the pink building … it is one of Charlotte’s landmarks and is very interesting during the early morning sun. Those who own condo’s there have an outstanding view of Uptown Charlotte.
